DIED -- At his residence in West Liberty, Muscatine County, Iowa, of Consumption, at 4 o'clock A.M. Wednesday, February 17th., 1875, JOHN B. GIBSON, in his 73rd. year.

"Uncle John" as he was familiarly called, was born in New Market, Frederick County, Maryland, November 7th., 1802.  He removed to Ohio in 1827, and resided in Richland County, Ohio, until 1868, when with his family he removed to West Liberty, Muscatine County, Iowa, where he resided until his death.  Deceased leaves a wife and five children, and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss.  -- H.M.G.
