Harold N. Umbarger, 76, of 204 Euclid Avenue, died in Mansfield General Hospital early this morning following an extended illness.

Mr. Umbargber was born in Mansfield April 24, 1894 and had been a resident of this area all his life.  He was the first owner and repairer of a radio in Mansfield and operated a radio and refrigeration repair shop until his retirement.  He also did radio repair for the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Narce and the SAR Constitution Chapter.  A veteran of World War I, he served in the U. S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Au Umbarger; three sons, H. Edwin of West Lafayette, Indiana, James of 421 Marwood Rd., and Malcolm of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Chatlain of Columbus and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted in the J. H. Finefrock and Sons Funeral Home by the Reverand Robert H. Clemence, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
