A telegram from F.L. Robinson, formerly of Washington Ave., Mansfield, now residing at New Brighton, Pa., announces the death of Edward S. Oldham at that place.  Mr. Oldham was an old resident of Perrysville, Ohio, from whence he removed some five or six years ago to Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and resided there until the time of his death, which occurred yesterday evening.  His funeral will occur at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Brighton, Mr. Oldham was a soldier in the war.  His family consisted of a wife and two boys.  The wife survives him, but the children preceded him on the journey across the river.

Mr. Oldham was well known in this and Ashland County, especially among his comrades in arms.  While his death was not unexpected, yet it will cast a gloom over many a comrade and friend who could know him only to respect him.
