Death Claims City Pioneer Mrs Mary ROSS was Native of Jackson Township; Rites Set for Monday Mrs Mary Delnora ROSS, 68, wife of Calvin F ROSS, died late yesterday afternoon at her home, 147 Harker street. She had been in ailing health for the past year. Born on a farm in Jackson township, 28 Oct 1867, she came to Mansfield more than 50 years ago and has since resided here. She would have observed her 68th birthday anniversary next Monday. Mrs ROSS was an active member and worker in the Mayflower Congregational church for many years. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs James BYERS (Linnie ROSS) and Mrs Robert CROCK (Mary ROSS), of Mansfield, and Mrs Lester BAUER (Rhea ROSS), of Bellville; six sons, Alexander ROSS,Ray ROSS, Walter ROSS, Kenneth ROSS, William ROSS, and Harry ROSS, all of Mansfield; six brothers, George ADAMS, Charles ADAMS, Harmon ADAMS, Joseph ADAMS, Elmer ADAMS and Albert ADAMS, all of Mansfield, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Mayflower Congregational church at 2:30 pm Monday, with Rev Peter YOUNG officiating. Friends may call at the home between Saturday noon and Monday noon. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery.
