Mrs. Mary Belle Pool Wentland, 85, formerly of Mansfield and widow of Jerry L. Wentland, died Thursday morning at her home in Columbus.

Mrs. Wentland was born in Upper Sandusky, Dec. 24, 1887, and had been a resident of this area since early childhood.  She moved to Columbus in 1969.  She was a charter member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Ruth Wentland, 1745 Westwood Ave., Columbus, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Guy D. (Helen) Rine, 2540 Johnston Rd., Columbus; and one sister, Mrs. Harry Weaver of Osbun Rd.

Services will be conducted in the J.H. Finefrock and Sons Funeral Home Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. John C. Balliett, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
