Bellville -- Mrs. Elizabeth Hass, relict of Peter Hass, died at her late home in this place Saturday, May 25th., aged 70 years, 2 months and 25 days.

Mrs. Hass was an old and esteemed resident of this place, and a kind-hearted Christian lady whose many charitable actions and amiability had won for her a high place in the regard of all with whom her quiet life had brought her into contact.  The bereaved children mourn the death of a good, kind mother, and have the assurance of universal sympathy.

The funeral services occurred Monday, May 27th., from the home of James Leppo on Huron Street and was largely attended.  The services were conducted by the Rev. J.H. Deeds, pastor of the M.E. church, after which interment was made at the Bellville Cemetery.
