On last Sunday morning the remains of the late Andrew J. Sell were brought to the home of his parents from Chicago.  Six years ago Andrew left his home to seek employment in this city.  Success soon crowned his efforts and at the time when his fatal illness came on he was engaged in the Boston Store as general floor manager.  His employer testifies that Mr. Sell was prompt and reliable in his business relations, and he was a son for whom his parents entertained high hopes.  But after an illness of four weeks, death came and he passed away peacefully at the age of 23 years, 10 months and 2 days.

The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Presbyterian church.  The pastor of the church, Rev. C.W. Caldwell, assisted in this service by Rev. Barnett, Coons and Deeds.  His remains were buried in the beautiful cemetery near his old home.

The body of Andy Sell was brought home from Chicago by his parents on the early train on last Sunday morning.  The news of his death brought a feeling of sadness to his many young friends.  The immediate cause of his death was a surgical operation for abscess in the pleural cavity.  He died in the Mercy Hospital.  The Independent joins with the entire community in the expression of sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved family.
