BELLVILLE -- Died July 26, at her home in Woodview, Miss Mary Halferty, aged 70 years and 16 days.  She was born near the place of her death, on the farm now owned by her brother John.  She has been an invalid for a long time, dropsy being the immediate cause of her death.  The funeral occurred on Friday, conducted by Rev. J.N. Barnett, the services being held in the church at Shauck Cemetery, where she was buried.  A brother and a nephew from Noble County, Indiana, were in attendance at the funeral.
