The death of William K. Kidd, one of the most esteemed of the members of the bar, occurred Tuesday, at his residence on Dibble Avenue.  He had struggled with disease for more than a year, here and in Colorado, but without avail.  Mr. Kidd was a native of Medina County, and educated at Mt. Union College, where he took first honors.  He commenced the practice of law in Mansfield, and had been a member of the Cleveland bar since 1871.

He was retired and modest in habit and character and most devoted to a profession for which he had been thoroughly trained.  His record as a practitioner, for integrity and honorable conduct, is acknowledged by both the courts and the bar.  His devotion to his profession and to the trust confided to his care left him little time to give to social or public life.  He had been associated with Judge Cleveland for the past 15 years.  He leaves the heritage of a firm and noble character to his family, a widow and four children.  The interment will be at the country home in Dalton, Wayne County.
