Butler -- DIED --- Thursday, May 30, '89, at 8:05 p.m., John E. Andrews, aged 68 years, 1 month and 16 days.  The funeral took place from his late residence, 2½ miles south of Independence, on Sunday, June 2nd., '89, at 10 o'clock a.m.  Funeral services were held at the M.P. church by Rev. Kauffam [sic.], of Bellville.  Interment at Independence Cemetery.  Mr. Andrews as a husband and father, was always found to be loving, kind and true;  and above all being an honest Christian man, having joined the M.P. church quite a number of years ago.  In his departure from this earth, his wife looses a valuable husband, and his children a dear, kind father, one loved, honored and respected by all who knew him.
