Tuesday -- Mason M. Garrett, aged 95 years, well known in this city, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.F. Sowers at Cleveland last night.  He was the grandfather of Miss Harriett McCrory who has been making her home this summer with Gen. Brinkerhoff.  The deceased resided here and also at Lexington some years ago.  The body will be brought here for burial.

The body of Mason Morgan Garrett, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.F. Sowers at Cleveland, Monday night, arrived at 5:33 p.m. Thursday and was taken from the train to the cemetery for interment.  Funeral services were held at Cleveland.  L.F. Sowers and wife and Mrs. Garett accompanied the body.
