THE GRIM REAPER RUTHLESSLY CUTS DOWN J.J. SCHANTZ -- FUNERAL PROBABLY THURSDAY -- John James Schantz, son of the well known citizen, John Schantz, died at 10:45 last night, death resulting from a combination of brain and heart disease.  The deceased was 28 years of age and was unmarried.

Nor arrangements have as yet been made for the funeral, as the relatives are awaiting the pleasure of A.A. Schantz, a brother, who will arrive tonight from his home in Detroit, and Mrs. Harry Robinson of Portland, Ore., who has not yet been heard from.  Charles Schantz, a brother located at Detroit, is already here.

The funeral will probably be held Thursday, from the residence John Schantz, on North Diamond Street.
