Monday -- Mrs. T.E. Scott died at her home four miles west of the city, Sunday, at 1:30 p.m.  The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.  The deceased was the mother of Mrs. Frank Sipes and William Scott, the street car motorman, of this city. 

The following additional announcement regarding the death of Mrs. Scott appeared in the following week's paper, dated 06 June 1896 (Vol. LXXIX, No. 4), as follows:

ALTA, June 1 -- The funeral of Mrs. T.E. Scott was largely attended by friends and neighbors.  Interment in Marlow Cemetery.  Mrs. William Lenter and daughter of Lucas, H.S. Moser and Mrs. Mary McDermott of Shiloh were in attendance.
