Christian Hasenzahl, a citizen of Mansfield for many years, died Thursday night, at his home on Perry Street, aged 76 years, two months and 11 days.

Mr. Hasenzahl was born at Bevisheim, Hess-Darmstadt, Germany, Apr. 14, 1820, and came to America in 1852, after living about one year in Buffalo, N.Y., and one year in Fremont, came to this city, where he has since resided.

In 1860 he married Miss Magdalena Stromberger, who died some six years ago.  He leaves eleven children to mourn his departure:  John, who lives in Columbus, Samuel, Charles, William, Edward and Henry;  also Mrs. John Reinoihl, Lizzie, Emma, Bertha and Anna.

The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Samuel Engwiller.
