TO THEIR REWARD -- George Arter and Joseph Carson, two aged residents of Sandusky Township, died Sunday night.  Arter was 77 years of age and Carson was several years his senior.  They were intimate friends, having resided side by side since the pioneer days of this county.  Both were comfortably fixed and enjoyed the respect and esteem of their friends and neighbors.  The death of both these old pioneers within several hours of each other is a curious coincidence, and occasioned considerable interest in the northern part of the county. 

Both men are comparatively well known in this city.
