Mrs. Sophia Kline, wife of Morris Kline, died Thursday night at 8:45 at her home at Johnsville, surrounded by relatives and friends.  She had been ill for the past five months with dropsy and enlargement of the liver.  Her maiden name was Sophia Schmidt and she was born in Germany, Dec. 10, 1832, and was, therefore, nearly 69 years of age.  She came to this country when she was about 13 years of age.  

She was married to Morris Kline, who survives her and to them were born thirteen children, of whom ten survive.  The sons are:  George W. Kline of Willow street, Clinton Kline of East Second street, Frank Kline of Edison, John Kline of Morrow county;  and the daughters are:  Mrs. H.B. DeWitt of South Prospect street, Mrs. Adam Newhouse of South Diamond street, Mrs. Jacob Sheriff of East First street, Mrs. Webster Kass of Harker street and Maude avenue, Mrs. T. Biddle wife of the Rev. T. Biddle of Edison, and Miss Hattie Kline of Johnsville.  Funeral services Sunday morning at 10:00 at the United Brethren church at Johnsville.
