DIED, Mrs. Catharine Clark, wife of Jacob Clark, was born January 16th., 1804, died near Shelby, Ohio, March 15th., 1875, aged 71 years, 1 month and 27 days.  The departed was married to her surviving husband June 20th., 1822;  came to this State June 19th., 1839, up to which time she resided in Cumberland County, Pa.  She was the mother of four children, three sons and one daughter, all of whom preceded her to eternity.  The former died young.  The daughter attained to womanhood, married and was the mother of two children.  In early life she was a member of the Lutheran Church, but had no church connection since in this State.  It is gratifying to know that the Christian training and faith of youth, sustained her with much comfort, in her last illness.  The testimony of friends is, that she died happy, being perfectly resigned to the will of the Lord, and frequently exclaimed "I will soon be harvested home, where I shall find rest."  She said her "trust was in God, and there was no love like the love of Heaven".  Funeral services were held at her late home, conducted by the writer.  Her mortal remains quietly rest at the side of her only daughter in the old Cemetery.  -- N.H.L.

DIED, John W. Hagenbuch, son of Nathan & Rebecca Hagenbuch was born in Ashland County, Ohio, on the second day of March, 1841, died at his father's residence near Shelby on the 16th. day of March, 1875, aged 34 years and 14 days.  He became a member of the U.B. Church when about 17 years of age, he became afflicted about one year afterward and has been afflicted until the time of his death.  He died in great peace, rejoicing in Jesus as a precious Savior.  Funeral services attended by Rev. A. Biddle.

Samuel Nixon of Plymouth, died on last Friday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Winton were removed to the Infirmary on Monday last.  The heroism of Mrs. Winton, in her devotion to her aged and helpless companion, has been something wonderful.  For years she has managed, with the assistance of friends, help from the County, and her pension, to get along;  and would, no doubt have continued to do so, had not those who had the matter in charge thought they could be better taken care of at the Infirmary.

David Cummins returned last Friday from Tuscola, Ill., where he had been on a visit to his father, the latter and wife returning with him.  Mrs. Cummins is in ill health, and greatly desired to visit her native place.
