MARRIED, On the 15th. by (Rev. S. Fenner), at the North American, Mr. William Cummings to Mrs. Matilda Dungan, all of Shelby.  On the same day, by the same, Mr. George W. Marks to Miss Barbara Delp, all of this place.

MARRIED, on Thursday the 15th. of March inst. by Rev. Jacob Whisler, Mr. William Copeland to Miss Mary A. Kendall, all of Franklin Township.

DIED -- At the residence of his mother, near Olivesburg, on Sunday morning, March 4th., John Starrett, aged 31 years.

DIED, In Mansfield on the 16th. inst., Mrs. Mary Lafferty, wife of Mr. James Lafferty, after a lingering illness, which she bore with much resignation.

PUBLIC SALE, The undersigned will offer for sale on Friday the 30th. day of March, 1855, at his residence, 4 miles north of Mansfield, the following personal property, to-wit:  Two horses, five milch cows, two colts, a lot of young cattle, Sheep and Hogs, one four-horse wagon, one two-horse buggy, a sleigh and sled, harness and horse-gears, ploughs and harrow, and other farming utensils -- one cooking stove, tables, chairs, bedsteads, bureau, and a variety of household and kitchen furniture not necessary to enumerate.  Sale to commence at 9 o'clock, A.M.  A reasonable credit will be given.  -- Jacob Kohler, Jr., March 21, 1855.
