From the BELLVILLE INDEPENDENT

02 January 1890, Vol. 2, No. 38

Independence -- The following parties were married on Christmas night:  Sam Hettinger and Susan Bowman;  Harman Simmons and Miss Rowley;  Geo. W. Bowman and Lizzie Wineland.  May happiness and prosperity follow them where e'er they go is the wish of their many friends.

06 February 1890, Vol. 2, No. 43

Independence -- Mr. Jacob Spohn and Miss Mary Stahl were united in the holy bond of matrimony Thursday of last week by Rev. Henry Keller.

10 April 1890, Vol. 2, No. 52

Married -- April 6th., by Rev. John Kelley at the home of the bride, Darlington, O., Mr. Homer Goodwin and Mrs. Malinda Paxton.

Married, at Mansfield, on the 9th. inst. by the Rev. Sommeral, Mr. William Fisher and Miss Emma Park, both of Bellville.  The happy couple returned on the night train and went immediately to their home which had already been furnished and made ready for them.
