12 January 1882, Vol. 5, No. 15

Bellville.  Mr. Lou Snyder and Miss Allie Smith were married Thursday, January 5th.

Married at the residence of her mother, at Lexington, the 3rd. inst., Mr. Finney, of Mansfield, and Miss Ettie Wilcox.

Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, near Lexington, Jan. 3rd., Mr. T. Eugene Dunshee and Miss Adelia Cleland.

Bellville.  William Harter and Amanda Frederick were married at the bride's house Tuesday, January 10th.

Married, December 29th., 1881 at the M.E. parsonage, by Rev. R.L. McNabb, Mr. Lorenzo Long and Miss Emma Hendrickson;  Also Mr. John Warner and Miss Sarah Long.

09 February 1882, Vol. 5, No. 19

Married at the residence of the bride's parents in Worthington Twp., on the evening of the 2nd. inst., by Rev. W.W. Anderson, of Bellville, William E. Weaver and Miss Annie F. Fildes.  

02 March 1882, Vol. 5, No. 22

Mr. John Young and Miss Hortensie Garber were married at the Universalist parsonage, Wednesday evening, February 22nd., by Rev. Canfield.  Much joy.

Mr. T.A. Swonger and Miss Mamie Kenton, both of this place, were married at the residence of Henry Fickle, of Mansfield, Saturday evening, by Rev. D.W. Smith.

Married, at the Presbyterian parsonage, on the afternoon of the 7th. inst., by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Jacob Shafer and Miss Mary J. Teeter, both of this vicinity.

Independence.  Mr. and Mrs. Pierce are just starting out in married life with a promise of a bright future, and a will to make the best of their surroundings.

13 April 1882, Vol. 5, No. 28

Bellville.  Mr. George Eller and Miss Dora Oyster were married Sunday evening, in Berwick, by 'Squire Moury.

04 May 1882, Vol. 5, No. 31

Married, at the U.B. parsonage, in Lexington, Thursday, April 27, by Rev. A.J. Wagner, Mr. William Prosser and Miss Mattie Groff, both of that place.

Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, Tuesday evening, May 3rd., by Rev. M.L. Wilhelm, Asa R. Lydy to Miss Cora M. Sheidley, both of this village.

Independence.  Mr. J.E. Farst and Miss Lizzie Dull were married at the bride's residence in Mansfield, by Rev. D.W. Smith, April 27th.  They came to Independence on the 11 o'clock train, and had an infair at his father's.  

11 May 1882, Vol. 5, No. 32

The marriage of Miss Josie Kelly to Mr. Harry Kenton, of Chicago, took place at the residence of the bride's parents, Wednesday evening, May 3rd., in the presence of a few invited guests, Rev. H.L. Canfield performing the ceremony.

08 June 1882, Vol. 5, No. 36

Lexington.  The wedding of Miss Alice Shuler and Mr. Thomas Pulford, took place at her father's residence, on Tuesday evening.  The happy couple left the same evening for Cleveland and Toledo on their bridal tour.

03 August 1882, Vol. 5, No. 44

Mr. Milo Farber and Miss Jennie Culbertson were married Tuesday, July 25th., at the St. James Hotel, Mansfield.  Mr. Farber resides near Darlington, and got his bride a few miles west of this place.

17 August 1882, Vol. 5, No. 46

Married, at Independence, Aug. 13th., by Rev. S.S. Fleming, Mr. Heenan A. Pearce and Miss Martha J. Crowner, both of the above place.

Mr. Martin M. Breakeall and Miss Ida Staley were united in marriage at the M.E. parsonage, Thursday, Aug. 10th., by Rev. R.L. McNabb.

31 August 1882, Vol. 5, No. 48

Newville.  Married, the 23rd. inst., at the bride's residence, Miss Nettie Mowery to Dr. A.W. Budd.  Rev. McLaughlin officiating.

07 September 1882, Vol. 5, No. 49

Bellville.  William B. Mowry and Sarah E. Russell, were married by 'Squire Hamilton, Tuesday, Aug. 29th.

Bellville.  Asa Beal and Mary Richardson were married Sunday, Aug. 27th.

Bellville.  Married, Thursday evening, Aug. 31st., in Mansfield, Mr. A.L. Cameron and Miss Lucina Sargent.

A quiet but pleasant wedding was celebrated at the residence of A. Raudebaugh in the direction of Pleasant Hill, Thursday, Aug. 31st., the contracting parties being a son Wm. Raudebaugh, and Miss Hallie McMonigal, Rev. A.J. Wagner officiating.

14 September 1882, Vol. 5, No. 50

Bellville.  Mr. Frank Payne and Miss Jessie Wilkinson, of Shelby, were married at the Clifton House last Sunday afternoon.  The ceremony was performed by the Rev. McLeod of the Disciple Church.

05 October 1882, Vol. 6, No. 1

Mr. Robert O. Lawrence and Miss Mary A. Palm, of the vicinity of Lexington, were married at the Presbyterian parsonage by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Wednesday, Oct. 4th.  The ceremony was performed at 10 o'clock and the newly-wedded took the 11:17 a.m. train for Cincinnati.

19 October 1882, Vol. 6, No. 3

Mr. Sanford Spayd and Miss Laura Shafer were married at the residence of Rev. John Secrist, at Independence, Oct. 12th.  After the ceremony they returned to the bride's parents in Bellville, and in company with a few invited guests partook of a sumptuous dinner, and then went to Bloominggrove to visit friends.

02 November 1882, Vol. 6, No. 5

One of the most pleasant events of the season was the marriage of Mr. Gustave Etz and Miss Mary Searfos, at the bride's parents, northeast of town, on Thursday, Oct. 26th., by Rev. 07 December 1882, Vol. 6, No. 10

Charles Bowman, of Galion, was married to Mrs. Mary Bradrick, of this place, Friday evening, Dec. 1st., and the couple have since gone to Galion, their future home.

21 December 1882, Vol. 6, No. 12

Married, at the Presbyterian parsonage, in this place, by Rev. W.W. Anderson, on the 19th. inst., Mr. Charles C. Pritchard and Miss Kate Cotsenmoyer, both of the vicinity of Independence.

Bellville.  Mr. Hanibal Hamilton and Miss Laura Izer were married at the residence of the bride's parents, by Rev. S.M. Cook, Thursday, Dec. 14th.  On Friday they took a bridal tour to the Capitol, spending several days with relatives.

Bellville.  Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, McCombs Forbes, Worthington Twp., on the evening of the 16th. inst., by Rev. W.W. Anderson, of this place, Mr. A.R. Stickler and Miss Agnes M. Forbes, both of the vicinity of Perrysville.

Independence.  Married, on Dec. 3rd., by the Rev. Rife, at the residence of Mr. Horn, Mr. William Horn, of Richland Co., and Miss Manda Stoler, of Knox Co.

Independence.  Married, at the parsonage, by Rev. Rife, on Tuesday, Dec. 12th., Mr. Thomas McCullough and Miss Bell Larabee, both of this county.  

28 December 1882, Vol. 6, No. 13

Bellville.  Married, at the residence of the bride, Dec. 21st., by Rev. M.L. Wilhelm, Mr. John K. Kelso and Miss Mary Hiskey, both of this vicinity.

Bellville.  Married, on the afternoon of the 26th. inst., at the Presbyterian parsonage, by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Tobias Fike, of this vicinity to Miss Ollie Weaver, of this place.

Bellville.  Mr. Peter Maglott and Miss Anna Lanehart were married at the bride's residence, Thursday, Dec. 14th., by Rev. Stilly, in the presence of seventy-five guests.
