Died - At her late residence near Newville, on the 5th. inst., Mrs. Janette Manner, in the seventy-third year of her age.  Miss Janette Calhoun was born in 1807 in Allegheny Co., Pa., and came with her father's family to the vicinity of Newville in 1831.  She was married to Mr. Manner in 1833.  During Rev. Gailey's ministry in the Monroe United Presbyterian church, she united with that church on profession of faith in Christ.  This was some twenty years ago.  Two years and eight months since she received a paralytic stroke, since which time she was almost entirely helpless.  She survived a second slight stroke.  When the Master came she was waiting to go.  She died in the same house into which her father moved in 1831, and in which she was married in 1833.  After a brief service at her late home, the remains were taken to Perrysville, where funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church, after which the interment took place in the adjoining cemetery.  Two sons and two daughters are still at the father's home, and one married son lives on an adjoining farm.  May they all meet in that tearless beyond.  The Pioneer mothers will not soon be forgotten.
