The large number of entries render it impossible for us to go into details.  There were two hundred and thirty-eight entries of apples alone.  LEN SWIGART, of Monroe Township, had some fine apples and grapes displayed.  Our old friend, NATHAN VANDORN, of Jefferson Township, was the "boss" exhibitor, and carried off thirteen premiums, which was doing more than usually well when we take into consideration the large number of entries, and amount of competition.  -- Sunday Morning Call, Mansfield, O.

WM. FULTON, while engaged on a portable saw mill on KINER's farm, near Lexington, by some means got his head in contact with the upper saw.  His skull was cut near to the brain.  He is doing as well as could be expected.  The accident occurred on Tuesday of last week.

The Jefferson Township Building Association have decided to put a third story on their building;  that is on the front part of it, which will make a hall 20x48 feet to be used for Grange purposes, leaving the large hall on the second floor (32x55) for general purposes.  This is what this place has been needing for a long time.

It was a quiet, home-like wedding which, last Tuesday evening, made Miss NEMMIE L. RICHARDSON the wife of Mr. JOHN Y.
