$10.00 REWARD for positive information leading to the conviction of the parties who poisoned my dog, Selim, on Tuesday night last, near my store, while waiting for the mail to open.  A clue was furnished at the time that warned me that if was done, and I only need one or two links in the chain to fasten the act where it belongs.  I will try and take care of the case.  -- A.H. CONDICT.

Two valuable cows for sale.  -- ALLEN COLLY.

J.C. POTTS started for the West last Monday, and expects to be home Saturday evening.

LEVI SHAFER, who lives on B.F. HINES' place, had one double set of harness stolen last Monday night.

A new light three-spring wagon for sale cheap.  -- S.W. BIXLER

G.W. & R.S. BELL (Plaintiffs) vs. SOLOMON HAWN (Defendant) } Before REUBEN EVARTS, J.P. of Jefferson Twp., Richland Co., O.  On the 12th. day of June, A.D. 1876, said Justice issued an order of attachment in the above action for the sum of twenty-three dollars and eighty-one cents debt, and ten dollars probate costs.  -- G.S. & R.W. Some miscreant poisoned A.H. CONDICT's dog Tuesday evening.  He was of the St. Bernard specie, and highly prized by Mr. CONDICT and family.

Mr. TRAXLER, who went to Green Springs last week for his health, got much worse while there, and returned home Saturday evening.  P.S.  Mr. TRAXLER, as will be seen under the death notice, has since died.

Rev. N.A. SAXTON will preach in DORE GARBER's grove, August 6th. at 11 o'clock A.M.  Subject -- "Some of the improvements of the last hundred years.

OUR SOCIAL PARTY -- Last Thursday afternoon, the ladies of the M.E. Church met at Mrs. H.W. CONLEY's for the purpose of having a little social and tea party.  There were a good many present, and all seemed to enjoy themselves well.  Ladies, let us have more such parties, as we generally feel the better for them, when gotten up for a good purpose.  -- S.

On last Monday evening, CHARLES CASTER's little boy, about eighteen months old, was playing in the yard with a pet pig, when it turned on him and bit him, making a gash three inches long across the side of his head, taking one ear nearly off.  Dr. STOFER, who is our informant, was called to dress the wounds.

On last Friday, as HARRY JOHNS, who has contracted for putting up the foundation of the Grange building, was standing near the edge the ground gave way, precipitating him into the cellar.  He had barely time to escape a second cave of a ton or more of earth, as he had got his foot caught.  It was a narrow escape.

At Hastings, 20th. inst., a little son of POLK BAUGHMAN, fell from a cherry tree and broke his leg above the knee.

DIED, At his residence, in Worthington Township, Richland County, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 25th., 1876, Mr. PHILIP TRAXLER, aged 73 years, 4 months and 24 days.

DIED -- SAMUEL BISEL was born September 11th., 1799;  died July 22nd., 1876, aged 76 years, 10 months and 11 days.  The deceased was an old citizen of Perry Township, Richland County, and was followed to the grave by a large concourse of relatives and friends.  -- G.I.C.
