married John Albert WEENINK about 1886 in Rootstown. They moved to
Cuyahoga Co, and raise d a family. Willing to share what I have on

HOPKINS, born 1818 in Nelson Township, Portage Co., Ohio and died
abt 1885. He married Diantha Westland Feb. 19, 1840 at Portage
County. They had two daughters, Emma born about 1850 (married Morton
MANLEY), AND Jennie, birthdate unknown. He is the son of Rossiter
HOPKINS and Maria SHERWOOD. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

County, Ohio (per LDS IGI). I found Joel Nelson in the 1840 Summit
County, Ohio, census. What happened to them? Who were their parents?

Looking for ancestors of Sarah Harmon who married Nathan Boynton
(Boyington) December 21, 1831, in Portage Co., Oh. Her father was
probably Joseph Harmon. A William Harmon (probably her brother)
married Lavinia Cheyene in Mi. Would like to hear from anyone with
info on the Harmon, Boynton (Boyington) or Garfield families.

Looking for Perry Swinehart who was married to a Alice Marsh and
to Margaritte Priscilla Fox Ringer. Perry Swinehart died and was
buried in Ravenna on 27 Jan 1903
George Steinman and Catherine Andes were both born in Germany
and they were married in Portage Co. on June 12 , 1845. They later
moved to Monroe Co., MI. George was born in the state of Hesse
Dermstadt. Does anyone know what town?
I am trying to confirm information that JOHN SCOTT GOSHORN was
born in Garrettsville, Portage County, on April 3, 1842, to John
Gooshorn and Frances Riddle McClure. The November 7, 1850 Census for
Nelson Twp., Portage County, lists the family of John and Frances
Goshorn, both 41, with daughter Margaret, 18, born in Pennsylvania;
and Nancy, 16, Robert, 15, Richard McC, 13, Sarah J., 11, JOHN S.,
nine, Maryette, six, and James, three, all born in Ohio. I am trying
to determine if John (and any of the other children) were born in
Portage County. John's son, William McClure Goshorn, asserted that
his father was born in Garrettsville. Any help would be appreciated.

1850 Census Samuel Benjamin 38,Pameila (Mary) Benjamin Mary Benjamin
5,George Benjamin 3 & Julia Benjamin 1 Julia Is my GGG-grandma. All
of the Children Ended up in Tuscola Co MI. So I'm Assuming One or
both Ended up there also Probably in the Lte 1850's to Early 1860's
Julia Married Albert Guilds in 1865 in Tuscola Co MI. I'm Looking To
find Out who Mary and Samuel Parents were and Where they Came From.
