    Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Helen Vandergriff, 49, of Rt. 1, Waverly, were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with Rev. R. G. Humble officiating.  Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery here.  Friends called at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Saturday until the funeral hour.
 Mrs. Vandergriff died unexpectedly at 8:30 p. m. Friday, February 14, 1974 at her residence on River Road.
She was a retired employee of the Columbus Paper Box Company of Columbus.

     A native of Franklin County she was born on September 18, 1928 a daughter of Arthur and Helen (Adkins) Landrum, both of whom preceded her in death.

     Surviving are her step-mother, Mrs. Goldie Landrum of Columbus; her husband, Robert Vandergriff at home; one sister, Mrs. Lenora Gee of Rt. 1, Waverly; three step-sisters, Mrs. Martina Miller, Mrs. Mary Louise Belcher and Mrs. Betty Climer, all of Columbus; and three step-brothers, Delmer Clemons of Florida, Charles Clemons and Robert Clemons, both of Columbus.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vandergriff was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
