CLARENCE ADRIAN, 74-year-old retired Pike County Farmer of Rt. 1, Waverly, in the Miller's Lane Community died at 3 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9 in the Pike County hospital, following an illness of three months.
Mr. Adrian never married and lived his entire life in the same house and farm where he was born. Born on Feb. 12, 1894, he was a son of Jacob and Kejuria (Farmer) Adrian. Surviving are two brothers, Lyman Adrian of Miles City, Montana, and Harvey Adrian of Rt. 1, Beaver; one sister, Mrs. Wilbert Echard of Harrisburg, O., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howe Co. Funeral Home in Piketon with Rev. Mason Dyke officiating. Burial followed in Given's Chapel Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday, until the final rites.
