Jack R. Dyke
JACK R. DYKE, 47, of 2692 Alma Omega Road, Waverly, died at 7:17 p.m. Sunday ( Sept 22 1991) at St. Anthony Hospital, Columbus.
He was a partner with his father Mason Dyke in Pike County Cartage. He was a member of Teamsters Local 195, Portsmouth, and a 1961 graduate of Waverly High School. He attended the Waverly Bible Christian Church.
Born Nov. 30, 1943, in Waverly, he was the son of Mason K. and Anna M. Fisher Dyke. He is survived by his parents of Waverly; his wife, Marian Sue Osborn Dyke, whom he married Dec. 10, 1961; son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. John R. Dyke and wife Chrise of Waverly; daughter and son-in-law, Susie and Douglas Stone of Piketon; one grandson, Rondrea; one brother, Perry Dyke of Chillicothe; one sister, Mrs. Alfred (Ruth) Frederick of Waverly; several nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert J. Dyke.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m.Wednesday at the Waverly Bible Christian Church with thge Reverends Ray Hannah, William Acord and John Dyke officiating.
Burial will be made in Waverly Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
NOTE HERE--Jack was preceded in death by another brother , Arthur Mason Dyke who died in infancy in 1940.--- Mason Dyke was son of Jacob Young Dyke and Mary Pearl Stulley
