Robert J. Dyke
ROBERT JACOB DYKE, 37, of 324 Emmitt Ave., Waverly, died 2:25 a.m. Aug 27 ( 1984) in University Hospital, Columbus. He was born July 13, 1947, in Pike County to Rev. Mason and Anna M. Fisher Dyke, both of Waverly. On Oct. 24, 1964, he married the former Yvonne Sue Kemper who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robbie and Jamie Dyke; a daughter Angie Dyke, all at home; two brothers, Jack and Perry Dyke; a sister, Mrs. Al (Ruth) Frederick, all of Waverly.
Mr. Dyke was a partner with his father, Mason, and brother, Jack, in the Pike County Cartage Trucking Company and also was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He attended the Pleasant Hill Community Church.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly. Burial will follow in Waverly Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Note: Mason is son of Jacob Young Dyke and Mary Pearl Stulley
