, 66, 145 South Mulberry St., Chillicothe, died 1:38 p.m. Oct 21 (1992) at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was a retired laborer and an Army veteran of World War 11.
Born Feb. 1, 1926, in Omega in Pike County, he was the son of James Corbitt Harris and Margaret Jane Leffler. He never married. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Marie Payne and one brother Lawrence Harris.
He is survived by three brothers, W. Herman Harris of Waverly, Omer E. Harris of Chillicothe and Robert L Harris of Washington.
Graveside services were held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Omega Cemetery with the Rev. Marion Conkel officiating. Military graveside service was conducted by American Legion Merritt Post 142, Waverly.
Calling hours were not observed. Arrangements were under the direction of the Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.
