Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday at the Little Funeral Home in Sabina for Joseph W. Pauley, 97, of Sabina, who died at 7:30 P.M., Monday, September 5, 1960 at the home of daughter, Mrs. Minnie Fast in Springfield.
Mr. Pauley was a native of Pike County and spent most of his life near Beaver. He was a retired blacksmith.
Mr. Pauley was born at Beaver on May 8, 1863. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Kinnison in 1942. Also preceding him were six children.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Myrna E. Wilson and Mrs. Mamie Fast of Springfield, Mrs. Ada Gregory of Hamilton and Mrs. Veryl Dellaven of Cedarville; one son, Ottie E. Pauley of Sabina; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Skidmore of Shrove, Ohio, 34 grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren.
Burial will be made in Mt. Etna Cemetery in Pike County under the direction of Littleton Funeral Home.
