Norwood's Buildings and Sites Listed in Historic Registries

 This list includes national and state historic registries.

  • Norwood Municipal Building - Norwood City Hall at 4645 Montgomery Road was placed in the National Register of Historic Placed on March 11, 1980. The reference number is 80003093. In the November 1912 election, the voters approved the construction of a municipal building. The building was dedicated on Saturday, January 1, 1916, after the swearing ceremonies of the elected officials. The cost of the building was $100,000. It replaced the old frame Norwood Town Hall.
  • Norwood Mound- This ancient dirt mound is located at the highest spot in Norwood. It's reference number in the National Register of Historic Places is 74001520.
  • Norwood High School- This Sherman Avenue building was originally the Norwood High School replacing the Allison Street High School Building. It is now the Norwood Middle School, since a new High School was built adjacent to this one. It is listed in the Ohio Historical Society Registry of Historic Buildings.
