I am researching the following people from Morrow County, Ohio.�� I have a David SMITH, born 12 March 1761, Morrow County, Ohio.� David married Chloe HUGHES on 7 October 1783.� There were seven children born: Sarah, Eunice, Almond (direct line), Nehemiah, Nathaniel, Alvan, and Chole Louisa.� David died 5/7 October 1823 in Delaware County, Ohio.� Burial was in the Marlborough Cemetery, Delaware County, Ohio.� Chloe HUGHES was born in 1765 in Morrow County, Ohio.� Do not know when she died.� Is there anyone who is researching either the HUGHES or SMITH'S from Morrow or Delaware Counies?� I would love to hear from you.� I can't seem to find anything on David or his wife Chloe before their marriage.� I have some data on the descendants of these two that I am willing to share if anyone is interested. Searching for information on family of John DYE, born in PA and died in Morrow County, OH in 1852 and his wife, Rachel MORRIS, who died Apr. 29, 1883 in Morrow County, OH.� Known children included Andrew DYE, born circa 1822, William DYE, born 1842 and John Hudson DYE, born Mar. 6, 1848.� Family came to Ohio from Greene Co., PA. Looking for info on Roseannah/Rosanna BLAKELY STINER, b. possibly in Franklin/Fairfield Co., OH.� Parents Thomas & Rosanna BLAKELY. Rosanna SR. is buried at Stiner Cemetery near Mt. Gilead.� The BLAKELYS had property near Canal Winchester, Franklin/Fairfield County line with Walnut Creek running thru it. Rosanna Sr. went to live with her daughter. Other children of Thomas & Rosanna were Nancy (ggr grandmother), Matilda, Robert, Sarah BLAKELY & Elizabeth w/o John FAIRCHILD. Also in a 1831 Chancery Record a Robert & Samuel were listed as buying land 1817.� Any help would be appreciated.

HENRY, Martin, living in Morrow Co., OH in 1865.� I believe he had sons, Eli Henry, supposedly killed in the Civil War, and John W. I am researching my great-grandfather Aaron GARVERICK.� He was born in Morrow County, Ohio, on 19 Oct 1842.� His father's name was Henry GARVERICK, and Mother's maiden name was Barbara SHEFFER, who may have resided in Stark Co., Ohio.� Aaron was supposed to have been a Civil War veteran, serving with the 136th Regiment, Company I, Ohio NE1, according to information that I have at present.� I would be interested in any information concerning the subject persons.� I have information tracing Aaron's lineage back to Michelreith, Bavaria c. 1612/1613. My maternal roots are in Morrow County: my mother, Sarah Esther MOSHER BLANEY was born in Cardington in 1906 and was buried there in 1993 beside her parents, Henry Harlan MOSHER and Minnie Pearl ONG MOSHER.� Thanks to extensive work done by relatives, I have access to much information about the MOSHER and HARLAN lines, but I have been unable to locate much on Minnie Pearl ONG or her family.� I know that she was born in Columbus (presumably in the 1870s) and that she was a member of the Society of Friends.� If you could link me with someone who has researched the Ong family, I would be most appreciative.

Looking for info on descendants of John SHAW that came to Delaware Co. [now Morrow Co.] in 1809. He had bought 400 acres of land. Gave 100 acres if his son Jonathan would move on it and impove it. John came up later and claimed the other 300 acres. The land is in Westfield Twp. Many Shaws are buried in the Shawtown Cemetery.� My wife is a direct descendant of John SHAW.
