An 80-year-old grandmother who always wanted to fly realized that ambition at South Dayton airport last week. Mrs. Amanda Cameron of Hamilton happened to be visiting with her grandson, Ray Blake, 301 Cherokee dr. Blake has his private pilot's license and offered to take Mrs. Cameron for the trip.

They flew over Dayton, down over Hamilton and all around the Miami Valley area before landing.

"It was the nicest thing that ever happened to me," Mrs. Cameron said. "The only thing I want to know is what happens to all those hills. I knew there were some down there but from the air the country looked pretty flat."
