GEPHART, CARTER
William Gephart born 1890 Ohio married Opal Carter born 1890-1900 Dayton,Ohio. On 17 April 1928 they lived RR 10-Box 527 Harrison Twp, Montgomery Co. and she gave birth to William Jack Gephart, Soon seperated from his parents and placed with another family as a young child. He had another sibeling at time of birth and his father was a contractor. Can anyone provide me with where to look for this family? Opal would be on the 1900 census for Dayton, but which film would it be for Harrison twp? Would like ancestors of William and Opal?

I am looking for Paul Montgomery Marker, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Montgomery
County.  I beleive he was born in 1923.  He was in the ARMY in WWII
stationed ar Camp Polk, Louisiana in March of 1946 and  his serial # was
35 862 395.  He may have married Jeannette Jones and had a child.  I
beleive his Mother's name was Mrs. Virgil Reed. Any information that may

WINTERS
Looking for parents of my gggrfthr William Winters. b 11 Aug 1823 in Reading PA. Married Mary Catherine Peffley 22 June 1843 in Reading. They had three children in PA, Elizabeth, my ggrfthr Henry (Heinrich), and Eliza, before migrating to Connersville, IN.. They had seven more children there: Nathaniel, William, Emma, David, Mary, John, & Charles. His wife, Mary Catherine, died 24 Apr 1903 and is buried in Connersville. However, William must have left her and moved to Miamisburg, Montgomery Co.,OH where he died 19 May 1896 and was buried there. COBOURN, HAGERMAN, REED/REID/READ
Seeking info on Joseph COBOURN and Jane An HAGERMAN (both born Maryland).  Joseph was a soldier in the Civil War. Family story says he was returning home in 1865, by riverboat, got into a fight over a card game and was stabbed with a bayonet.  He arrived home to Centerville, to his wife and son (Hiram Hagerman Cobourn, b. 1858) only to die a few days later.  Jane Hagerman Cobourn later married another veteran named REED/REID/READ.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

LEATHERMAN, HOSTETLER, RUPP
Christian Hostetler b. February 13, 1745/46 Upper Bern Twp, Berks, PA d. April 02, 1814 Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio
On December 17,1799, while he was still living in Shelby County, Kentucky, he sold his Somerset County farm power of attorney. After he had his children all comfortably settled he sold his own farm and moved to Randolph Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, where he bought 340 acres
of land.  Made his will April 2, 1814, which was filed May 1, 1814.  His age at death around 70.  His widow, Barbara Rupp, was buried on the West Bank of the Wabash River in Vermillion County, Indiana.  It is said that Christian left the Kentucky settlement for Ohio because there were too many English speaking people coming in.

Seeking information on a Peter Leatherman who was in Montgomery County area about 1780. Children include: Christian, John, Jacob, Mary & Catherine. Peter was probly born in PA and later lived in KY and possibly IN prior to moving to Ohio. His children Christian, John & Jacob can be found in Orange County, IN and Lawrence County, IN in the 1820's onward. It is believed that Peter died in Ohio. There are close ties with the Hostetler family who was also in Montgomery County, Oh about the same time.

Can anyone tell me where Riverview Cemetery, Dayton, used to be (or maybe still is?)  My guess is that it's on Riverview somewhere.  My g-g-grandfather Abraham LOEB was disinterred from the Jewish cemetery in Oakwood and moved to Riverview.

Researching ALFRED E. HARRIES and wife LOURA TIMMONS. Probably came to Dayton area ABT 1876. Was a brick layer. Children ANN, BESSIE, JOHN & ALFRED all born in Dayton. Family said he lost his business during the big flood. He built sewers. Believe LOURA died at childbrith ABT 1887/1888, no record of death. Family then moved to Eastliverpool,ohio

Joseph Coffman BYERS, son of John T. BYERS and Prescilla BENNETT.  Joseph was born in 1838 in Ohio.  His father, John T., was born abt. 1808 in Pennsylvania and died 10 Jan 1884 in Dayton, Ohio.  His mother, Prescilla, was born abt. 1807 in Virginia and died 3 Jul 1887 in Dayton, Ohio.  His parents were married in 1831.  His eight (8) siblings, all born in Ohio were:  Rebecca (b. 1832), William (b. 1832), Elizabeth (b. 1836), John F. (b. 1844), Philander (b. 19 Aug 1846), Lydianna (b.1849), and Mary Elizabeth (b. 20 Nov 1860.  Joseph married Mary Catherine LYNN, daughter of Morgan LYNN (    and Hannah SUVER.  They moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where a daughter, Sallie Alice was born 25 Jul 1864.

MACBOYLE
I am searching for information on the birth of my great grandmother, Amy Elizabeth MacBoyle (possibly spelled McBoyle) born to William MacBoyle and Elizabeth Truman in Dayton, OH on November 12, 1865.  I realize there are no vital records for that time period, but is there any other way to find this information?  I'm not even sure how long the family lived there, but I know they were in Gilpin County, Colorado by 1870 as they are listed under that county in the 1870 Census.  I would love any information about Amy E. MacBoyle OR her parents.  Ultimately trying to find out when they came into the country.  William MacBoyle is from Scotland and Elizabeth Truman is from England.

Searching for any info - George McBride, born in 1802. He first appeared on the Frederick Co., MD census of 1830.
George married Sophia Wis(e)man on March 27, 1828. George and Sophia had the following children: Jacob Henry, UNKNOWN, Susan, and Henry.
Following Sophia's death in 1836, George married Eliza Long. George and Eliza had the following children: Sophia, Mary Ann, Philip, Lavina, Eliza, and David.

Henry and his family lived in Montgomery Co. for a short while
They left MD around 1860, lived in Preble Co., OH, and eventually settled in Piatt Co., IL
I have info for the states of MD, OH, IL, and IN, and would love to share.
