Looking also for Cyrus' parents - I have no name of father for him, but he died by 1840. His mother, Elizabeth ______, b. about 1815 in Virginia, remarried in 1840 to Abraham HECK and they had 9 children. She died in Ohio. By the 1900 census, this family was living in Miamisburg, Montgomery Co. Known children from this marriage: Grace M. (b. 3 Aug 1879), Edna May and Edwin G. both born on 18 May 1882, Iona (b. Jul 1888), Carl (b. Aug 1890) and Catharine (b. Dec. 1897). F. WIRTH
Paul Ernst Otto WIRTH came to America in 1880 on the steamship ELBE HAMBURG with his wife Helene BENISCH. Helene is buried with other WIRTH family in North Dayton, but I can find no evidence relating to Paul's death. He must have died around 1912, as the 1913 Dayton City Directory lists Helene as "widow of Paul". Any clues on

Robert WILSON fought in the revolutionary war and all of his children were born in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Robert, James, William, Ralph and Nathaniel. The daughters Susan married Samuel WITHEROW and Sarah married Levi WOODWARD and daughter Elizabeth married Enoch BOWEN. Elizabeth WILSON (Elizabeth HUNT) came with her children somehere between 1800 and 1810. William WILSON married Anna CRANE on 14-Aug-1812. and moved around 1823 to Carroll County Indiana. Nathaniel WILSON born 6-Apr-1791became a big part of Dayton history together with his wife Jane NEWCOM ( the first child born in the early Dayton settlement); Nathaniel's sister Elizabeth married Enoch BOWEN who likewise was a big part of that settlement. After Enoch died Elizabeth or Betsy married George NEWCOM. There was a early business named BOWEN & WILSON. Nathaniel WILSON's will executed in
1849 refers to his family, his brother Ralph WILSON and nephew, Ralph T. ZEITLER, BARLOW, BETZWIESER
Have collected much information about this family from Bavaria, Germany. John and wife, Benigna arrived in USA in 1845 with their children,and Michael Zeitler and wife, Marie (Engelman) and their children. Marie's brother Joseph (20) came with them. In 1855 Joseph and Theresa Zeitler arrived with their children George, Anna and Henry. There was also an Andrew Zeitler and wife Catherine (Barlow) in Dayton and they had two daughters.
