LEWIS, WHITEHEAD
Hi there! I'm looking for information on William E Lewis (b. 7/16/1885) m. Viola Mae Whitehead about 1907-9 (b. 12/8/1888); all events, I think, in the Dayton area. I found them in the 1920 census (Vol. 157/E.D. 140/Sheet 8/Line 97) and at some point they moved to Chicago, IL where my father was born in 1925. Their eldest son,
Ralph Frank Lewis was not actual child of William E Lewis' but was given his name. Other children were Laura Belle, Ruth Pearl, William Earl, Jr., and my father Clifford Howard. I have lots of information on Lewises and Whiteheads immigrating to the US and migrating to Ohio, but I can't find the link between my gr-grandparents.
