BEDELL
Looking for information on Elizabeth Bedell, born 1815. I have conflicting information about whether she was born in Montgomery or Preble County. Her father was probably John Bedell of New Jersey.  They eventually moved to Fayette County Indiana, where she married George Jones.

BEAR, BRUNER, SWIHART, COLER, CUSTARD, PORTERFIELD
Seeking info on parents of Henry BEAR (BAIR, BARE, BEHR?), b. a1814 in Montgomery Co. According to book by F. Conover he was a son of an early pioneer of Montgomery Co. He first married Lydia SWIHART and had one daughter Catherine BEAR (she married Christian A. COLER). Henry Bear's second marriage was to Ellen
BRUNER and they had children Albert S., Florence, Ira, Paul, and Myrtle Edith (b. 1825) who married William Dunlap PORTERFIELD in 1886. Both Henry and Ellen BEAR died in Montgomery Co., he in 1901 and she in 1867. Also seeking info on Ellen Bruner Bear's mother, Ellinor CUSTARD (b. 1796) who married Daniel BRUNER
(b. 1790). They came to Montgomery Co. in 1826. Both are buried in Germantown Cemetery. Ellinor died in 1877 and Daniel in 1878.

COX, THOMAS
Looking for more information about COX and THOMAS families in Montgomery County before 1810. Phoebe COX apparently born there April 9, 1808. Her parents were William COX and Elizabeth Thomas COX, and her maternal grandmother was Mary DAVIES THOMAS.  Mary DAVIES THOMAS may have died there. The families were Quaker, from South Carolina, and moved on into Indiana before 1827.

CROOK
Looking for info on the family Crook. Orginally from Rocky Mount, Franklin Co. VA. My G-Grandfather Daniel Madison Crook with his  wife Sarah Frances Jane Beckner Crook relocated with their 9 of their 10 children to the Montgomery Co. area. Some lived in New Lebanon, Farmersville, Still Water Junction and New Carlisle area. My    grandfather was DeWitt (Witt) Crook who married Mary Elizabeth Orth and they had 8 children. Any info on the family would be greatly appreciated.

JOHNSON, BAUER
Seeking descendants of Nathaniel S. JOHNSON and Johannah  Catherine Bauer. Nathaniel was born 11 Jan 1813 in Disseldorf on the Rine, Prussia and died in Dayton 17 Dec 1860. Hannah was born in Baden, Germany 5 Aug 1817 and died in Dayton 8 Dec 1891. Both are buried in Woodland Cemetery.

Seeking descendants of John Martin & Louisa Catherine BAUER. John M. was born in Prussia circa 1794 and died in Dayton 15 Dec 1844. Louisa Catherine was born 1789 in Germany and died in Dayton 8 Sep 1867. Both are buried in Woodland Cemetery. LEIS, AVERY, BIRCH, RHOADES, FITZER
  Looking for info about my grandfather Walter Allen LEIS b.4-5-1886  d. 1958. His parents were Phillip LEIS and ???AVERY. Walter was born in Johnsville,Shelby Co., OH. He married 2 times : #1 Mary BIRCH, 2 daughters; #2 Laura Mae RHOADES FITZER, 3 sons & 3 daughters. I have been told the family lived in Montgomery Co.,OH. and that Walter also had 2 brothers one may have been Harry LEIS.
Any info greatly appreciated.

Trying to locate the children of Melvin Eugene Haer (b. Apr. 21, 1906) married Alice Mary Mimna (b. Apr. 23, 1912). Children: James Leroy Haer; Mack Elwood Haer, Robert Haer, Shirley (Haer) White and Donald Haer who died 1984 in Montgomery Co., OH.
