23 in Xenia. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on

Robert E. Armstrong age 76 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, August
22, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by
his wife, JoAnne in July 2004; daughter, Barbara Trusty in 1997;
and brother, Warren in 2000. Robert was retired from FM
after 32 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army
having served his country during the Korean War where he was the
recipient of the Purple Heart. Robert was the loving father
of his daughter and son-in-law; Loving Grandfather of 3; 2
sisters; 1 brother; and many friends. Graveside services
will be held 1:00 PM at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in
memory of Robert. Arrangements in care of Magetti Gavin
Funeral Home, 1508 Valley Street, Dayton, OH.

Martha L. (nee Douglass) Bagby on Aug. 21, 2004 of Berwyn, PA.
Beloved wife of the late J. Stone Bagby. Survived by a son
and a daughter, both of Berwyn, Pa; a twin sister of
Hendersonville, NC; and 8 devoted grandchildren. She was
born Jan 28, 1922, and was daughter of the late Jesse and Judge
Mason Douglass of Dayton, Ohio. She attended Ohio Wesleyan

Geroge Robert Bolton Born January 27, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio
and died August 10, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton after being a
patient at Maupnee Valley Nursing Home and a resident of
Englewood, OH. Mr. Bolton is survived by a brother of
Terrace Park, Ohio; and a sister of Bowling Green, Ohio. Uncle
Bob will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews,
other relatives and friends. Mr. Bolton donated his body to
Wright State University School of Medicine.

Constance Louise Burns at 69, of Springboro passed away on
Monday, August 23, 2004 at her residence. She was born on
October 16, 1934 in South Chicago Heights, Illinois the daughter
of Ralph and Rose (Loy) Malvestuto. Mrs. Burns was retired
from National City Bank and was a member of St. Marys
Church, Womens Club of St. Marys, Teams of Our Lady,
St. Vincent DePaul Society and Scripture Croup [sic]. She
is survived by her husband of 34 years; a son of Los Angeles,
Ca.; two daughters of Springboro; a brother of Ocala, FL.; a
sister of Chicago Heights, IL.; a sister of Warrensburg,
Missouri; 10 grandchildren and expecting two great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August
28, 2004 at St. Marys Church, 115 S. Main St., Franklin
with Father Charles Mentrup officiating. Burial will born
[sic] Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to
8:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2004 at the Anderson Funeral Home,
40 N. Main Street, Springboro, Ohio with a prayer service at 7:00
PM lead by St. Marys parishioners. Memorial
contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society of St.
Marys, 115 S. Main St., Franklin

Virginia Foster Born on September 2_, 1930 in Bessmer, AL
departed this life on August 21, 2004 after a lengthy illness.
Virginia was a faithful member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist
Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Laura
Harrington; husband, Daniel J. Foster; sister, Helen Jackson;
aunt, Verna Jones; and cousin, Mildred Jones. Survived by
son and daughters; grandchildren; great grandchildren;
brother-in-law; special friends; numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends. Funeral Service, 12:00 Noon, Thursday,
August 26, 2004 at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, 2262 N.
Gettysburg Avenue, with Reverend Sylvester Walker officiating.
Interment: Dayton National Cemetery. Viewing 10:00 AM until
time of service with the family receiving friends one hour prior
to the service. Ceremonies entrusted to McLin Funeral
Chapel/Northern Hills, 2801 N. Gettysburg Avenue.
