Children's Day was observed at the M. E. church Sunday morning. Quite a large crowd was in attendance and a general good time was had.

M. V. Wells who has been spending the past winter with relatives in W. Va., has returned to his home at this place.

Mr. and Mrs. George Todd and daughter Ola of Jerles passed through this place Sunday for Road Fork.

Miss Alice Smith has returned home after a week's visit with her sister of Crumtown.

William Wells was badly stung by bees one day last week while extracting honey.

Charles Shankland visited F. M. Robinson and family Saturday and Sunday.

Miss Oda Steward of Carlisle visited friends on the Ridge over Sunday.

William King of Lexington Ridge was at this place one day last week.

George Wells and family visited Henry Orr's Sunday.
