The farmers of this community are very busy getting ready for spring crops. The prospects for a good wheat crop is excellent.

Hiram Hines, Pomeroy Knowlton and Ernest Batten attended the debate at the Cleff schoolhouse Saturday night.

John McCollum and Henry Winland attended the exercises of the last day of school at Well's Saturday.

M. Lindemood, who has been very low with the grippe for the last few weeks, is slowly recovering.

Goerge Hines, who has been laid up with a sprained ankle, is able to go about his farm.

John Winland is about the sell his farm. We have not learned what he intends doing.

Walter Hines was a guest of the family of J. H. Morrison Saturday evening.
