Muddy roads seem to be the topic of the day.

Right smart of sickness in the community, but most of the sick are recovering.

Some of the farmers are making inquiry for feed while some are well supplied.

Sheep throughout the country look tolerably well considering the winter.

Rev. J. P. Thompson, of Wisconsin, has come home on a visit, but intends to go back before long. He looks natural.

Our school, under the management of W. F. Pepper has been prospering very finely. He is going to have a grand time the last night--a general debate.

James Leisure, the fur buyer of this place, has about quit the business. he says everything is busted and fur no good.
