WILLIAM FULTON

William Fulton, an enterprising farmer of Richland township, was born October
6, 1845, in Pultney township, the son of Andrew and Margaret (Gay) Fulton. Mr.
Fulton was reared in this county and was given the educational advantages of
its excellent common schools in his youth. He was reared on the farm of his
parents, and naturally chose the same vocation as his own, and not unwisely,
as he is now reckoned as one of the best farmers of the township, and has a
good farm of seventy-nine acres, which he has improved handsomely. He was
married September 5, 1876, to Anna E. Workman, who was born in this county in
1847, the daughter of Amos and Hannah (Milligan) Workman. Their home has been
blessed with five children: Edgar R., Inez Mary, Albert E., Mary L. and Hannah
N. Mr. Fulton is a member of the United Presbyterian church, with which his
wife is also affiliated.
