Most of my paternal ancestry is in Meigs County, Ohio. I hope to develop this site into a resource which will be of help to anyone researching Meigs County lines.
This site is part of the OHGenWeb project, which is a subsidiary of the USGenWeb project. It is not associated in any way with the Meigs County Genealogical Society or the Meigs County Pioneer and Historical Society, although I have been a member of the MCGS and would recommend that you join one or both organizations if you have an interest in the county.
To my knowledge there is no copyrighted material, other than my own or that has been donated, on this site. I would appreciate being notified if this is not the case.
