Monthly meetings of the Monroe County Historical Society are held in
either the office of the MCHS located in the Health Department Building at 118
Home Ave., or the Parry Museum at 217 Eastern Ave., both in Woodsfield, Ohio on
the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to
attend. A schedule of the year’s meeting can be found by clicking on Meetings. For

To get to the
Health Department Building from the central square in Woodsfield, Ohio, go east
on Ohio State Route # 78 (Eastern Ave.) for about one mile., turn onto Home
Ave. at the red star above. (As a
landmark, the Monroe County District Library is located at the red star.) Drive south on Home Street approximately 0.1
miles. The Health Department Building
is on the left at 118 Home Ave.
Sometimes the
monthly meetings of the MCHS are held at the Parry Museum at 217 Eastern Ave.,
Woodsfield, Ohio. Beginning from the
town square in Woodsfield, the Parry Museum is located about 0.2 miles along
Eastern Ave. (Ohio Route # 78 going east from the town square) on the right.
