Parish Records of St. Paul’s Evangelical Church of Woodsfield, Monroe County, Ohio 1862-1956  by: Dr. Shirley A. Harmon.  This book is a translation of two volumes of parish records of St. Paul’s Evangelical church of Woodsfield, Monroe, Ohio. The original records were written in German and English, and they have been transcribed and indexed in English. The records started in 1862, but some information contained in the records was before 1850. Some records continued into the 1950s. In some cases, sufficient information was given on the European origins of some of the individuals in St. Paul’s parish to consult and compare microfilms of parish books housed in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, UT, and this additional information has been included. The records consist of baptism, marriage and death records as well as confirmation information and lists of members. These records are wonderful records and give a picture of early Woodsfield, Ohio and some of its residents. The book has a surname index.  Publication date is 2005.  Book size is 8.5" X 11", Softbound, 129 pages, $15.00.

Ohio Residents Only:  Due to a new law in Ohio, you must include tax at the rate charged in your county. See the first paragraph above or click here.
