I am researching the family of Adam STULTZ/STULTS. In the 1820 census he is shown in Madison twp, Licking Co. On the 1830 and 1840 he is in Milford twp, Knox Co. His grave is in the Litzenburg Cem, Milford twp with a date of death as ca 23- May-1846. His Will is listed in Knox Co. and gives his heirs. Most marriages are in Knox or Licking Co - they married into many old Knox families - GLANCY, GRAVES, KNOWLES, HARRIS, VANCE, KELLY, CLARK, SHUMWAY, LEAK, STERLING/STURLIN, TAFT.
I have been able to trace most of these families, however,
I can not locate where in Pa they lived before coming to Oh.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I will be happy to share. Pamela Creighton

I am searching for information on the NIMERICK Family who lived in Licking then Knox county in the 1800s. Jacob NEIMRICH was listed in the 1840 census, as was William NAMRICK. In 1850, Elizabeth Nimrick, Jacob's wife, was living in Miller Township with her six sons. By 1860 they had moved to Illinois, leaving only one son, Neriah, in Knox County. Elizabeth TUSH married Jacob Nimrick in 1822 in Knox County. The name was spelled a variety of ways as evidenced by the various pieces of infomation. I believe this could be Jacob's second family, but I have no evidence. I am hoping to find his burial site in Knox County. Jacob Nimrick was in the Licking County census in 1820. Obviously that's right across the border. Michele Nimerick
