TAYLOR (they were married 3/2/1848) traveled by WAGON TRAIN from Knox County, OH to Fayette County, IL and settled on a farm in Louden Township, Fayette County, IL 1851. It appears that several other families traveled at the same time - so I am assuming they were in the same wagon train. My ancestor is Barzilla RUDE and a Barzilla RUDE appears in numerous personal property tax registers for Wayne Township in Knox County between the years 1820 and 1834. Because my g-g-grandfather Barzilla was married in Washington County, Indiana, in 1829, I don't believe this is the same person but they must surely be related as I have never seen the name Barzilla anywhere else.
