I submitted another query sometime back. But since that time I have found more information. Bartlett GLASSBURN married Delilah ?????? in Scioto Co. Ohio in 1870. They later moved to Lawrence Co. Ohio. Several of their children were born in Lawrence. Their children are: Lucy A, Margerate S, Nancy M, David W, and Mary L. All but one or two were born in Lawrence Co. Ohio. In 1892 Delilah filed in the Jackson County Court of Common Pleas, for a divorce from Bartlett GLASSBURN due to Willful absense and Adultry. In the action it names the women he was having affairs with. Supposedly he was with with them (at different time) as husband and wife. (If this looks familiar to anyone, e-mail me and I'll tell you who the women are). Bartlett was not found to serve the papers upon. Delilah was under the asumption that he was still in Lawrence Co Ohio, around the Lawrence Furnace with the second woman. I have found Bartlett's name many different ways. They are: Bartlett Bart Barrett Barton Burton. He has been very difficult to trace. Can anyone help me?

SURNAMES: POWERS, GILLIAN
I'm looking for any information concerning Smith POWERS and his wife, Martha GILLIAN who moved to KY from Jackson Co. Ohio. I believe they are the parents of Elwood, Laura, John, Coleman, Hortense, Sally, Elwood, and Rush. Smith was also Hiram's father, but Martha would have been his step-mother. All of these children resided in what is now Boyd County, Kentucky. The children were born c. 1850-1880- Elwood was born Sept. 14, 1875, in Johnson Co. KY, and Hiram was born in 1855- but we don't know where. Family lore says that the family originally came from VA to Ohio, where there was a "falling out" that resulted in at least one of the brothers moving to KY. If true, Smith had at least one brother who remained in Jackson County. If you can provide any link, I will be happy to share any/all of the information I've accumulated.
