SOPHIA UPTON

NEW LONDON – Services for Mrs. Sophia Jane Upton, 83, who died in England late last week where she had been visiting since April, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sackett-Eastman Funeral Home with the Revs. O. L. Kettenring and W. H. Mitchell officiating.

A native of England, Mrs. Upton had been a resident of this village for 42 years, making her home with a daughter in Oberlin the past three years.

Surviving are five daughters, three sons, a sister, 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Grove Street cemetery.
