Wakeman Resident Passes Away

The community was saddened by the death last Thursday evening, March 9, of Miss Hannah TIMBS, who had been a resident of Wakeman for fifty years, coming here from Ashton, Northamptonshire, England, when she was twenty-two years of age.

Miss TIMBS had not been well for two years; but her strength failed rapidly during her last few months, death being caused by a heart attack.

Soon after her arrival here Miss TIMBS joined the Congregational church of which she remained a true and faithful member, never missing a service unless prevented by illness. She was a member of the Ladies Bible Class and the ladies divisions, she was also a very active W. C. T. U. worker, and entered with enthusiasm into all community welfare enterprises.

Miss TIMBS will be missed in many circles. She was a sincere friend, never saying ill of anyone.
